Question : I like your view of conditional immortality
but it leaves out the necessary punishment that sinners deserve.
Would you agree that the ones who are not chosen for immortality will be
resurrected, judged, punished in Hell for a period of time proportional
to their sins, and then suffer destruction (the death of body and soul,
Matthew 11:28).

Answer: That is not my position. It reintroduces
the idea of another resurrection to be judged and then punished in proportion
to our sins. I believe that at death God can see who would
be happy being perfected in the love of heaven, and which of them have
freely chosen eternal suicide. Punishment in hell is not needed by
the love of God.
