INTRODUCTION

When I was young we had a quiz game, and the first question was "Is it animal, vegetable, or mineral?" Here the word animal included insects, birds, fish, mammals, and all other creatures that could move. This book picks one aspect of the character of each animal to illustrate Christian theology. The sequence has no logic except that we follow the date of first publication of the article on this website.
